Transport: Roadworks in Front of the School Will Cause Delays

Substantial roadworks are taking place on the Boulevard du Triomphe during the entire month of September, forcing us to adapt the buses' arrival to School.

These roadworks include:

• Reduced lanes in front of the school (1 lane in each direction instead of 2)
• Access to the school only in one traffic direction (Général Jacques -> Delta)

As a result, all buses will need to come from the Boulevard Général Jacques.
Additionally, we anticipate heavy traffic during peak hours.

We have adapted the morning line timetables to ensure arrival at school before 8:30. For the afternoon departures, leaving the school is significantly slowed down, causing up to 15 minutes of delay. Please take this expected delay into account before notifying us.

To allow you to track your bus in real time, our PAJ GPS system will be progressively brought back into service as of the 4th of September and will cover most lines within the first few days (for further information about installation and lines covered please contact Kevin Petrouski: kevin.petrouski@apeeeixelles.be).

We ask parents to avoid using a car to get to school in order to not affect the traffic during arrival and departure times for the buses (8:00-8:30 and 14:30-16:30, 12:00-13:30 on Wednesdays).
